Description:

Small group of white mushrooms growing in leaf litter under holm oak and a few coniferous trees. Young specimen rounded convex with flatish top. Mature specimens with flat caps up to 9 cm across, white, covered with silky radial fibres, with a large area at centre slightly raised and slightly cream coloured and ragged/notched margin, white free gills turning beige after being picked for a day, stem 10 cm long, 1.5 cm across, cream/buff-coloured tapering upwards with downwards hanging ring, growing under a holm oak tree. White spore print, ovoid spores, slightly pointy at one end with blobs inside like yolks in poached eggs!
