Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

I've just uploaded something similar - so I hope it's Trametes versicolor :)
It might be T. versicolor but those hairy patches suggest, to me at least, that it is T. hirsuta, the Hairy Bracket.
I couldn't see the underside at all as the fungus was in an inaccessible position behind a fence.
