Just acquired a new phone that takes good pics, but iSpot gets the orientation of photos wrong unless you have the camera 'Right way up'. Question is, what is the right way up? iPhones compensate for orientation so it's not obvious until you export the pics to software that there is a problem.
Answer for my phone seems to be that the right way up is pics taken with the phone in landscape, home button on the Right hand side.
While we sort out this orientation problem with iSpot's image module, iPhone users take note.
