It is wise to be cautious (pirayaguara above) doing workers of the lucorum group and terrestris, which is why my ID was tentative. However, I think the dark collar here is too narrow and dark to be any of the lucorum group (which itself contains an unknown number of cryptic species).
While it is not possible to be certain of workers of these two species with white tails, many terrestris workers are recognisable by the dark collar and buff tails, or white tails with a brown 'coffee-stain' at the base. As far as the lucorum complex is concerned, we just don't know what is going on, and they are best left at lucorum s.l.
