Fly agaric

It is a rain washed fly agaric

Russulas have brittle gills and crumbly stipes

I did read that article...

I did read that article... and agree it was very interesting... eg I never knew that they were used to kill flies not to mention as a way of livening up the long Siberian nights. I see on Wikipedia however that an attempt to check the fly killing was unsuccessful and that they actually contain a fly attractant! Still I suppose they could attract flies, then kill them...
