Description:

A nice tuft growing on old wood. Even on a thinnish stick (2nd photo) which our dog thought I was going to throw for him.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

Lovely dog, mine just sit on the fungi,so now have to have separate outing's.

He's a Flatcoat. I have to throw biscuits as back-up if I need to keep him away! He does get bored when I stop to look at fungi and, like yours, has been known to destroy some lovely specimens.
