Description:

Spotted whilst out looking for fungi. Deciduous woodland in established garden. south warwickshire/midlands.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

Wrinkled Crust - What a great

Wrinkled Crust - What a great name! Sounds appropriate, as I believe it occurs in this instance on Oak logs/dead wood pile. This is the only are of it that i've so far located, within a large area of woodland garden. Many thanks

There is an area were I live where the woodsman put's all the massive felled hardwood timber and that is were I found mine.
