Description:

Looks more like geoglossum cookeanum than the Hairy Earthtongue but was growing on Dartmoor, where the soil is mostly acid. The bank did look quite sandy.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
