Description:

A large fungus - it should be so easy to identify but I can't narrow it down! Cap about 16cm diameter. Centre of cap has a depression and is slightly slimy. Gills are decurrent and terminate part way down the stipe at the remnants of a ring. Stipe below that point is streaked. A group of them were found on the grass in front of a house near woodland and Greenham Common.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!
