From the location, these 'should' be Patella vulgata, but both P. depressa and P. ulyssiponensis occur as far east as the Isle of Wight - if you check the foot colour, you might find something interesting!

While some rocky shore species are spreading up-Channel on artificial structures such as coastal defences, P.u seldom gets high enough up the shore to associate with barnacles. P.d is another matter.Keep looking
