Clouded Funnel

Blewit growing on limestone soil on a track between fields.

Stem veins

I did see some blue/violet veins in the stem but they did not show too well in the image. I cooked them strait away as most wild fungi do not keep like the shop ones. They did me no harm.

The idea with wild mushrooms

The idea with wild mushrooms is to identify them BEFORE you eat them not just pop them in the pan because they may go off.

They were all right

They were not as nice as Blewits and i now know that cooking them and then heating them later did what the experts say for Shaded Funnel.
I will only loose a little bit of gas next time with some extra images when they are cut for a double check. I did see some violet veins in the stems though...
