Just to be pedantic ...

there is not, anywhere in the world, a green Geoglossum. Black, dark brown and dark purple are the only colours available.

I think Microglossum was intended? Now known to be not that closely related.

Interesting, this thing grows

Interesting, this thing grows in this area each year, sometimes many of them along with the Geoglossums. They are always this colour and size/shape, i may have put them on ispot before will check.
