It certainly looks like Stenoptilia bipunctidactyla, a widespread species but not all that common now. A good record. I assume the date in November is the date of posting, not the date of the photograph.
Many thanks for your helpful comment. The photo was taken in late July on a rich little patch of chalk grassland where a lot of nice things turn up.
