Rowen fungus
dscf2291
Description:

This very scaly little fungus was growing in "V" in an old Rowen tree in broad leaved woodland. It was a little young and i had some trouble getting the camera to focus and alto to get the gills to be seen. Largest cap 20mm. It may have been growing in debris that had collected in the "V" however the tree was a bit old.
