Several large white mushrooms growing in a bed established from grass a few years ago in park and planted with a mixed group of young deciduous trees. Caps up to 10 cm across, off-white to beige colour with large tawny scales especially towards centre and white downy fibres especially towards margin. The caps were convex/bun-shaped when small then flat/slightly concave. The caps were quite floppy and the one I took home turned to black liquid instead of delivering a spore print. Gills white maybe with a hing of pink or grey, adnexed. Stems about 13 cm long, 1 cm diameter, gently tapering towards top, movable ring, smooth white above ring, below ring the stem was slightly fibrous with off-white patches.
