Bryophyta

This is a moss, not a lichen.

Bryophyta

Thanks for that. Do you know which one please, also should mosses be placed in Fungi and Lichens or Plants please?

Plants

Mosses are plants. There are a number of species that look similar to this and I'm not sure about an ID. It might be a Brachythecium or Homalothecium.

ID

As mentioned by Nigel there are other similar species of Brachythecium and Homalothecium, ideally if possible you could go back and take a photo of any capsules or check when fully dry if this moss has curled tightly.

Other than that the look/habit location and habitat all match for me, though as per confidence i can't be certain.
