Fungi and Lichens expert

A mycena in pine woodland. in reality grey rather than brown (images with the white ispot card tend to come out too brown). had a slight rather unusual smell, difficult to describe (perhaps nitrous whatever that means), not particularly pleasant. No particular liquid when stem broken. gills similar colour to cap. possibly M. leptocephala


Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

Had you put M. leptocephala up as the ID, I would have agreed.
