They will be feeding on the honeydew (sugar-rich aphid excreta). 'Farming' is maybe a bit strong, especially for Myrmica, but the relations between ants, aphids, and the plants they feed on are very complex, and need more space than iSpot allows. You should find some interesting stuff on the web if you Google the keywords.
