A week...............

A week or so ago there weren't any, all I could find were a few shrivelled hedgehogs (of the fungi kind) and it was very very dry underfoot. Then a few days ago torrential rain hit the south coast. Water + still no frosts = a very happy me...oh and lots of fungi came up too ;) Hooray! So I'm not surprised you did not find much. If you came down now bet you'd have better luck.
