Little brown jobby

The bird was similar in size to a sparrow. It was streaky brown on its upperparts with pale under parts dotted with fine dark streaks. Its bill was pointed and fairly fine in shape. It flew from a tussock of bracken straight up into the sky before 'parachuting' back to the ground whilst calling 'seep, seep, seep'.
