This golden brown fungus was growing next an anthill and under an (I think) alder tree, in a small group. It has started to go a bit mouldy. It has a declivity in the centre. Its stem goes straight down into the gills, no separation. I've put up 2 pics, one of each side.


Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
