I initially agreed with the Lappet-faced Vulture ID, this was one of those click in haste repent in leisure moments. I was about to enter the correct name debate when I realised it was a actually a Hooded Vulture anyway hence withdrawing my agreement and adding the fresh ID.
Yes you are right . Vera did not fly on that day Mutley did and is the Species you describe !! Even though it was billed as the Lappet Well Spotted . I think many of the regular birds where breeding at that time. This is one of a pair named Nutley and Mutley
I have posted the Lappet Faced Vulture separately and changed this ob in so far as i can to Rays IDA the Hooded vulture
