Is it true the red squirrels on Brownsea are darker than other, mainland squirrels? It would appear so from this picture.

I.O.W. Squirrels seem to vary

despite seasonal differences although ours must necessarily have a similar gene pool but then we are all supposed to if you take things back far enough.
