We found this fruit under a tree outside our office (sadly I don't have a picture of the tree), and we think it's a lemon, but it has a slightly furry skin, and smells like a cross between a lemon and an orange?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
was it growing in a an indoor environment.
It was outside in a little wooded area by a pond
Lemon trees to my knowledge do not survive outdoors as they are a Mediterranean plant, that is why I asked as it would as an indoor conservatory plant.Picture a bit fuzzy but would say it was a Quince.
looks to me more like a citrus fruit than a quince.
