I have recently addressed

I have recently addressed this problem in a comment on another Tegenaria at http://www.ispot.org.uk/node/229244. In this circumstance a generic ID is both accurate and appropriate. A specific ID can never be accurate (and therefore never appropriate) for this genus (and many others) unless high quality micrographs of the right bits are posted; or unless the poster does the technical keying on the specimen before posting, and supplies the ID him/herself with a justification.
