light green fluffy seed heads of wild clematis clambering over unhacked hedges more observable than earlier flowers

Clematis flowers

The flowers, being white, are often assumed to be the flowers of hawthorn, blackthorn, blackberry etc. but no mistaking the fluffy seed heads!
