it was at Gibraltar point,Skegness. it's 7.5cm long and is not soft like an owl feather
No interactions present.
Look at the primary coverts on the second photo of the other observations of Pheasant which do not show the regular barring of the feather we are trying to identify. So either my id of the feather type or species is incorrect.
I had considered a wader eg Curlew, but they are usually barred brown and white, not fawn.
At present I still would on balance consider it to be a female Pheasant
OK, I thought it may have been something like a tail feather of a red shank or a curlew feather. I'm still not sure because I have looked at pheasant already thanks and if you have any more ideas I would love to hear them
