a strange spider

Ive added the identification Jewel Spider, even though he should be in Australia not Britain, but hey, maybe he caught a lift!
He's poisonous, but would rather run away, if bitten, pain is suppose to be localised. It builds a orb web a metre or two off the ground.
'David' i would suggest if you are going to keep putting pictures up from the web that you locate them more appropriately or at least update it when an identification is given, as incorrect locations may cause future problems for recording schemes and societies who may get these records.
I would also suggest that there may be copyright issues in using other peoples pictures so i hope they have been asked in advance?
oh :( i was a little excited, bubble burst!
Sorry Jennifer! It takes nothing from your id, just thought it unfair not to point out to the spotter that locating spots like this in the UK could cause probs, there's nothing stopping them moving the location following an id such as yours.
No i agree with you and to be honest if it is a copy and paste i think it should be taken down cause as the site name suggests its for people displaying what they have spotted not for......well i dont even know what the point of this post was!
