Flower colour variation in Leucospermum

Description:

The plants were growing in 2 year post burn veld on southern slopes on the Vergelegen estate. The plants were flowering in their second year after the burn. The area had previously been covered in pines which had been cleared. The fynbos regeneration was incredible with numerous species. Full marks to the Estate for their eradication efforts. The flower colour range from pale yellow to this darker colour.
