Seems to be the right shape

Seems to be the right shape for L. pyriforme and so spikey it could be L. echinatum except the spikes don't seem to made up of 3 or 4 convergent parts... so, once again, I'm rather baffled!

Er - these seem to have a long stipe. Unless I am misreading the photo this aort of rules them out of being puffballs don't you think?
