It is the same species, but to call them Rock Dove suggests the wild bird, whereas the variety of colour here shows some definitely to be Feral Pigeons: Some pale birds can be seen and some blacker birds, too. That variety is not found in the wild birds. I would expect that these are all feral birds, as the wild ones are restricted to the north of Scotland. Unfortunately, many are so similar that proving what are genuine wild birds and what are feral is now blurred, even in the very north of Scotland.
