This bramble grows in a woodland and has cerise flowers, the spines are straight

My knowledge of this complex genus dates back many years. Keeble Martin was aware of around 400 species in the UK (based on the Handbook of the Rubi of Great Britain by Watson, 1958): but that may either have been expanded or consolidated since!
Me, I just enjoy them - it's simpler!
