Looks a bit like http://www.ispot.org.uk/node/228270 which I thought might be L. rufus, though miked disagreed...
DOn't think this is a lactarius either, wold be helpful if the person observing had checked by breaking a little bit whcih should produce milk if its a lactarius.
might be a collybia but far from sure, suspect there are a number of other possibilities.
It also looks rather burnt out in the photo, is the colour accurate, looks somewhat pinkish
It was quite pink - a very washed out pink. But the odd shaped one was more under a bank, and had a much darker top. I did break a piece off. It was brittle but did not produce milk. It also had a delicious mushroomy smell.
might suggest something like lepista sordida but don't have any confidence in this, also possible that its two different species in top and bottom row of photos.
