Description:

One single specimen gowing low down on an oak tree about 20cm across and very vivid pinky/orange/red colour, no stem apparent. When cut it appeared to 'bleed' - inside was yellowy/orange and very fleshy looking, smelt slightly unpleasant - meaty.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
