Tiny little beetle think it is a leaf beetle,but would be nice to know which type.

Do you have an accurate size measurement? I wouldn't describe A. rufipes as a "tiny little" beetle, it's one of the larger ones in the genus Aphodius. Depends what you're comparing it to I suppose!
Entomologist and biological recorder
It is on a small blade of grass and was about 3/4cm in size maybe less,as I was rather pleased that the picture was okay as it was small,smaller than a ladybird.Sorry I did not measure correctly but I now have a bug trap with a grid in the base so future ob's will be measured correctly.
