On a second look I'm not entirely convinced that this is a Southern Skimmer, it's an old female, and unfortunately the wings are not at a good angle at which to see the cells above the radial supplementary vein.
The last of the three photos is a different individual, and is a mature female Sympetrum, which looks like a Common Darter.
It seems as though I attached the third photo to the wrong Observation,(the one above, same date). I ought to have attached it to a different Observation of a Common Darter.
I have difficulty in identifying veins such as radial supplementaries, so can't help much here.
