I wonder if this might be the X.longipes which apparently has less stubby, more cylindrical fingers?
I was wondering exactly the same thing! My book says X. polymorpha snaps when bent - unlike X. longipes - so that would help distinguish them.
It could be either. Need to look at the spores.
