Birch milkcap fungus
Description:

Brown cap, cream at border. Diam 7 cm.
Cap flattened, slight depression in centre of mature specimens.
Gills pale beige.
Height 5cm.
Stipe creamy 4 mm thick.
Growing in damp earth, 30 or more in a rash.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
