Description:

Orange umbo becoming a brown flattened cap with lighter edges. The stipe was pinky white colour widening slightly at the base which was furry. The gills had a wavy pattern but did not reach the stipe. The whole fungi was very delicate and thin. It was 5cm high with the cap being 3.5 cm across.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

looks like a small collybia to me with that changing coloured cap and general appearance.
