Description:

Tiny white eggs (approc 1mm across) attached to sycamore seed. Found on woodland floor. Tiny red markings on eggs.

Thanks for the possible ID. From your suggestion, have looked up images for shield bug eggs and the green shield bug, at least, has identical markings to these (like faces!). They are also correct in size and shape.
