I agree, it might be pentandra but the leaves are long and quite symetrical giving me doubts.
Unusual for Robert not to mention the mining - is there another post somewhere?

Hi there

this really is S. pentandra, very good example, very good pictures. The hybrid S. x meyeriana is much more common and (very) often mistaken for it.
