Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!
Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
No interactions present.
The old genus Collybia, originally an arbitrary grouping of toadstools with free gills and more or less colourless ("white") spores has contained quite unrelated elements, as now proven by DNA analyses.
The larger species are not true Collybias and are mostly moved to Gymnopus and Rhodocollybia.
This is Rhodocollybia maculata - likely to be a stable name-change [or not exactly a name change as it was published in 1939!]
