I'm interested in the pink corolla of the budding blooms in contrast to the blue - is there a name or explanation for this phenomenon?
Pink is often a stage in the production of blue, so presumably the production process can keep going?
A block in the biosynthetic pathway is why many blue-flowered species have pink variants.
Thanks, once again, for your words of wisdom. I will read up on that. So much to learn!
