Description:

This looks just like the Canker that kills Hoarse chestnut except that it is on Alder. It has killed or is killing about 30 trees in an area about 150 yards across. It has killed the trees so suddenly that the leaves have just shriveled. Is it notifiable and if so where on the web do i report it. Growing on restored mining waste close to allotments.
