These are often foubnd in cemeteries - is there a reason for this ? I know they are poisonous.
It's sometthing to do with the pagan belief that they brought immortality, but I can't remember how they got into the graveyards, it maybe that churches were often on the sites of earlier religious places and so the trees were left. They are poisonous too and one of the few places that were walled were cemeteries so they could be grown and kept away from livestock.
