Description:

Bee (I doubt the photo is good enough to ID the actual bee though I think its a Buff Tailed Bumblebee) its the spots/lumps just behind the head that I'm most curious about

The 'lumps' are Parasitellus

The 'lumps' are Parasitellus mites, not parasitic, but being carried to infect next year's nest where they feed on debris. It is common to see bumbles with these - sometimes many more than this.
