Description:

I think this may have been a single bat snapped several times as it was very quiet that evening. The previous night there were many!

Pipistrelle

The photos number 3 and 4 tend to suggest a pipistrelle. They are small and "fluttery" in flight and are probably the bats that people see most often. A single pipistrelle can eat 3000 insects in a night, despite weighing less than a pound coin!
