Not sure what you mean by "long legged fly", if you mean family Rhagionidae that's right, or if you just mean that it is a fly with long legs I can't argue with that either! It's Chrysopilus asiliformis, which has been christened "Little Snipefly" in Alan Stubbs's book on this group.
Would have been useful to know the size, but I'm judging it to be small by the leaf in the background.
