A remarkably early record. Does anyone else know about this?
Pretty much right when the first ones are now expected I'd say.
This one was reported by rare bird information services, and was part of a small arrival on the east coast (mainly the northern isles).
One was reported at Torness Power Station, East Lothian, Scotland April 2014 which I was lucky enough to see twice, it was constantly moving from tree to tree so photo I got was fuzzy.
I have never seen one of them the picture was hard to see but i agree with you all.
