Physcia caesia, Victoria Tower Gdn embankment wall

This lichen can be found along the wall of the Thames Embankment( SW facing) from Westminster to Vauxhall. The amount of lichen on the Plane trees nearby was also SW facing, but they have very little lichen. There are small examples of Xanthoria amongst the Physcia
Although the wall here is formally classified as being in a garden, the garden itself is a narrow strip along a heavily used road.

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!
